Short Description:

PVC Floor Adhesive Application Steps

1. Substrate Preparation:

- The floor must be level (difference ≤ 3mm within 2m), dry (moisture content <5%), and free of oil and dirt.

- For cement-based surfaces, it is recommended to apply a primer (to improve adhesion).

2. Glue Application:

- Use a toothed scraper (A2 tooth is recommended, with an adhesive volume of approximately 300-400g/㎡).

- Allow the glue to dry for 5-10 minutes (until it becomes translucent) before laying the floor.

3. Laying and Compacting:

- Lay the floor from the center of the room outward, using a 50kg roller to remove air bubbles.

- Apply additional pressure to joints to prevent warping.

4. Curing and Maintenance:

- Water-based adhesive: Avoid walking on the floor for 24 hours. Allow to fully cure in 48 hours.

- Solvent-based adhesive: Can be used lightly after 4 hours.

IV. Common Problems and Solutions
- Glue not sticking: The substrate is uncleaned or the glue is expired.

- Floor bulges: Glue applied unevenly or not compacted.
- Glue residue: Wipe with acetone or a specialized cleaner.

Regular Packaging

Each roll is packed by paper tube inside & kraft paper cover outside.
Sometimes, we also put a layer of scrap leather outside the kraft paper cover to protect the rolls when less than container load.
