They must be slow to burn or quickly self-extinguish when exposed to fire, and emit minimal smoke and toxic gases, buying passengers valuable time to escape.
Lightweight:
Low density: While maintaining strength, flooring materials should be as lightweight as possible to reduce vehicle weight, thereby reducing energy consumption, increasing range (especially important for new energy vehicles), and improving transportation efficiency.

Easy to Clean and Maintain:
Dense Surface: The surface should be smooth, non-porous, or micro-porous, to prevent dirt and liquid penetration and facilitate daily cleaning and rinsing.
Detergent Resistance: The material should be resistant to corrosion from common cleaning agents and disinfectants, and should not age or discolor.
Easy Maintenance: The material itself should be durable and resistant to damage. Even if damaged, it should be easy to repair or replace quickly (modular design).

Recyclable materials should be recyclable whenever possible to meet environmental standards.
